When I explain what I do to potential clients, they are always extremely interested right up to the point of when I tell them how much I actually make. At that point they go into information overload mode and they get all glassy eyed. What is an acceptable return on investment that doesn't scare people away? I was told by several investors that I should inform potential clients that my return are higher than normal and leave it at that. Making more than the average professional trader on Wall Street is one key note that I now share with potential clients. I no longer share what I actually do make, for most people it is a little intimidating and unbelievable.
